This raised chicken house is new to our collection and has proved to be very popular.

• Overall measurements: approx 120mW x 67cmD x 115cmH (including legs)
• House area measures 74cm x 57cm
• Pop hole at front measures 49cm x 25cm and has a ramp for access
• Large door to rear of coop measures approx. 49cm x 31cm
• Coop weighs approx. 30kgs

Specifications:

• Made from quality Chinese Fir timber
• Framework approx. 30mm x 15mm
• Cladding approx. 10mm thick
• 24cms high legs with rubber feet to prevent rotting
• There is a small partition between the coop and the double nesting box to prevent the wood shavings from falling out of the nesting box
• Nesting box has an opening lid for access
• Perches measure approx. 30mm diameter x 57mmL
• Features a pull out tray for easy cleaning
• Meshed ventilation grill at front
• Carrying handles enable easy transportation of coop
• Suitable for 2 medium sized chickens

The following calculations can be used as a guideline to determine the number of birds for each unit.

Very small breed - 1sq ft
Medium breed 1.5 sq ft
Large breed - 2 sq ft
